The Practice 32 Dental Hygiene Collective is a new community we’re building for dental hygienists in Colorado Springs and beyond.
It’s designed to be two things at once:
Practical, real-world training (CE-style sessions and skill-building)
A social and professional community (optional meetups and connection)
We’re starting this because we keep hearing the same themes from hygienists: wanting more support, better systems, more respect for the profession, and a place to keep growing without feeling like a production machine.
We run Practice 32 as an independent dental hygiene office, and we’re passionate about a model that supports both:
patients (comfort-first care, better education, better experiences)
hygienists (sustainable pace, strong systems, and tools that reduce strain)
We recently asked hygienists directly what’s driving part-time work, office-hopping, and burnout. The feedback was clear: this profession needs more spaces that promote mentorship, learning, and community.
The Collective is our answer to that.
As we ramp up toward March 2026, here’s the direction:
Short, practical sessions that focus on what actually happens in operatories, such as:
Comfort-first hygiene for anxious and overdue patients
Patient communication that feels educational, not salesy
Efficient hygiene systems that still protect quality
Tools, workflows, and clinical support that reduce wear-and-tear
Tech-forward hygiene (including Guided Biofilm Therapy / GBT concepts and patient education)
Not everything needs to be a lecture. We also want space for:
Hygienists meeting hygienists (networking without the awkwardness)
Social events and meetups (optional)
A place to share what’s working, what isn’t, and what to improve
When we announce the first events, people on the list will get:
first notice
early registration opportunities
updates as dates and details are finalized
No. The Collective is for hygienists and the hygiene community.
No. Many sessions will be focused on comfort-first hygiene systems and practical workflows that apply in any setting.
Some sessions may be eligible for CE in the future. We’ll share details as each event is announced.
We’re starting in 2026 and will set a cadence based on interest and feedback. The email list will be the first to know.
